Spirit of Wales Distillery will exhibit at Imbibe Live in London this week, so come and meet the team behind and taste the award-winning, premium spirits that celebrate the Welsh.
Newport, South Wales, United Kingdom,12 September 2021 – Imbibe Live, a premier event for the UK drinks industry, will feature Spirit of Wales Distillery’s premium and award-winning products on Monday and Tuesday this week, 13 and 14 September 2021.
Imbibe Live is being held at the Olympia London and will showcase wine, spirits, beer, cider, no/low alcohol drinks, mixers, soft drinks, and more. Spirit of Wales Distillery will also be there, exhibiting their flagship products; Dragon’s Breath Spiced Welsh Rum Spirit, Steeltown Welsh Dry Gin, and Steeltown Welsh Vodka at stall 3A48, within the Craft Showcase.

Spirit of Wales Steeltown Welsh Dry Gin has already won two silver medals (IWSC and Gin Master’s) only a few months after its initial release and is the first of three spirits that the distillery will have available to taste.
“I am excited to share our premium Welsh spirits with you at Olympia London this year. We have been working on many new products at our distillery, and now offer you the chance to create your own private label spirits through our contract distilling offering.” Says James Gibbons, the head distiller at Spirit of Wales Distillery.
Spirit of Wales Steeltown Welsh Vodka is contemporary and complex with delicate citrus and pepper tones. Spirit of Wales filters their vodka through anthracite from Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, South West Wales and this helps to give the Steeltown Vodka’s a distinctive Welsh influence and character. Dragon’s Breath Spiced Welsh Rum by the Spirit of Wales Distillery, which won a bronze medal at the 2020 IWSC, is the third offering by the distillery that will be available at Imbibe Live. The Spirit of Wales recently revealed the new Steeltown Welsh Blueberry Gin and Steeltown Welsh White Rum, available for pre-sale.
Steve Young, the new Spirit of Wales Distillery Brand Ambassador, is also excited to be at Imbibe Live; “I cannot wait to meet new & existing customers at Imbibe live on the 13th and 14th of September 2021.
